[Interface Level Measurement] Ultrasonic Interface Level Meter HL2100
It measures the distance in water and liquids by utilizing the propagation of ultrasonic signals in the liquid. It can also measure in opaque liquids.
Ultrasound has the characteristic of reflecting at the boundaries of different media. By emitting ultrasound from a sensor in water and calculating the time taken for it to reflect at the interface and be received, the sedimentation state can be determined. Since it measures non-contact with respect to the sediment, it can measure the interface of opaque treated water or the interface within deep tanks without lowering the sensor to the target sediment. ■ It can measure a wide range of distances from 0.2 to 10 meters from the sensor's emission surface. ■ It can measure two locations with one unit. (Standard equipment: one sensor) ■ Because it uses ultrasound, measurements can be taken without the influence of transparency, color, or day and night conditions. ■ The interface is measured based on computational processing that assumes changes in the quality of supernatant water and the concentration of accumulated sludge, so there is no need to change set values or readjust based on the condition of the equipment. ■ Both the transducer and sensor have no moving parts, allowing for stable measurements over long periods.
